Boston Thrashers WARGASM reveal DVD cover artwork
Wargasm's long-awaited DVD, filmed at the Middle East in Boston, Ma during their sold-out 2004 reunion concert and packed with extras spanning the band's 10-year run and beyond, will be officially released on Sept 13 at the band's upcoming show at the Middle East in Boston, Ma. The DVD's cover art can be seen below:
The DVD includes the entire 2004 performance, while 'Extras' section includes 'Long Live Wargasm', a documentary-style look at the band's ten-year history featuring never-before-seen video, band member interviews and commentary, and archival live videos filmed on-tour 1986-1995.
Wargasm's September 13th show, and the Sept 19th show at Club Hell in Providence, RI, are part of the 20th anniversary celebration of the release of their classic "Why Play Around?" album. Appearing on both bills will be Steel Assassin. Raw Radar War, SuperPower and Razormaze round out the Boston bill; Sin of Angels will open the RI show. Wargasm's sets will both be recorded for future release as "Why Play Alive!"
